ImageWired Gaming is a Social Gaming Centre in Galway City.

We say Social Gaming because that is what we're all about - we're not just a gaming centre, we are a gaming community.

We know it's not just about the best systems and games, the social experience we have with them is just as important.

To make Wired the best gaming experience possible we encourage community participation. That means we want our Members to take part in Wired, helping to shape what it is and what it will become. This website is designed with that in mind, giving all our Members infomation and a place to suggest, discuss and decide on a variety of topics (including games & events).

We also believe in giving our customers value. Our accounts allow you to top up (with your personal Wired Gaming Card) and use your time whenever you want, just like a mobile phone. Our FreePlay Bonus System means that for every hour you buy you get 6 free minutes (to enter your game) and 1 FreePlay Point. You can redeem FreePlay Points for free time and discounts on all our services & products.

To top off our FreePlay Bonus System we have Skill Tickets, these are earned during events (with each Member getting tickets based on his/her performance). These tickets can then be entered into our weekly draw, giving everyone a chance to win prizes.

  • Excerpt from The Information Diet, by Clay Johnson
Clay Johnson is the author of The Information Diet: A Case for Conscious Consumption, which has been getting a lot of media attention lately: Weekend Edition, Triangulation, Atlantic, The Wirecutter, to name a few. I haven't read it yet, because I'm too busy consuming other sources of information. But it's...
